Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in various settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer appropriate medical treatments, and transport patients to medical facilities when necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine and possess strong clinical skills. Duties: - Perform patient assessments to determine the nature and severity of injuries or illnesses - Administer appropriate medical treatments and interventions based on patient needs - Administer medications, including injections, following established protocols - Conduct triage to prioritize patient care based on the severity of conditions - Provide life support measures, such as CPR, as needed - Safely transport patients to medical facilities using proper techniques and equipment - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care - Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards Skills: - Experience administering injections and medications - Proficient in triage and patient assessment techniques - Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and procedures - Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control - Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology - Competency in venipuncture for blood draws and IV access - Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient movement as required - Proficient in monitoring vital signs and interpreting their significance Qualifications: - Valid Paramedic certification/license - High school diploma or equivalent (additional education/training is preferred) - CPR certification (BLS or ACLS) - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record We offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages for our Paramedics.
