We have an opening in Indian Head, MD for a dynamic, Mid Software Developer with Java rich client and web application development experience, and strong core Java knowledge. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or application software.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with software configuration management processes
• Experience with software configuration management tools and processes, ensuring code integrity and consistency across development cycles.
• Work primarily in Java/Hibernate/Spring, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Principals and concepts, and design patterns and their applications
• Knowledge of PC-based software tools for integration, build, and release of software
• Working knowledge of both rich client and web application development using current MVC frameworks
• Knowledge of database technologies, particularly MySQL/T-SQL and SQL-Server, including the use of tools like TOAD for database management.
• Experience using Java development tools (ex. Maven, Eclipse, etc.)
• Experience working in an enterprise environment
• Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration within a team environment.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor Degree from an accredited University in an IT related field and three-five (3-5) years of experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
• A Security CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-II compliant certification is required.
