Title: L3 MAC ENGINEER
Location: Bloomington, Illinois Onsite Day 1Mac Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our macOS environment. Responsibilities will span across scripting, device management, and using tools like Jamf, and ensuring security and efficiency of our Mac Systems.
Responsibilities Of MacOS Engineer
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions that enhance overall efficiency and user experience.
oStay updated on the latest Jamf and Apple features and best practices to optimize device management processes.
oManage and maintain the deployment of network configurations to ensure optimal performance, connectivity, and user experience.
oCollaborate with other levels of the team to develop user-friendly guides, workflows, and documentation.
oWork toward continuous improvement, identifying and implementing optimizations for better performance and user experience
oParticipate in cross-functional projects that involve Mac System integration and collaboration with diverse technologies

- Scripting and Automation
oCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions that enhance overall efficiency and user experience.
- Jamf Management
oStay updated on the latest Jamf and Apple features and best practices to optimize device management processes.
- Security and Networking
oManage and maintain the deployment of network configurations to ensure optimal performance, connectivity, and user experience.
- Technical Support
oCollaborate with other levels of the team to develop user-friendly guides, workflows, and documentation.
- System Optimization
oWork toward continuous improvement, identifying and implementing optimizations for better performance and user experience
- Collaboration
oParticipate in cross-functional projects that involve Mac System integration and collaboration with diverse technologies
- User Authentication and identity Management
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Mac Engineer with expertise on scripting (bash / python), Jamf, and system optimization.
- Strong understanding of macOS, certificates, networking, and security principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and in group settings.
- Able to identify problems that are not always noticed and take the initiative to dive into the issue and produce resolutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with integrating Mac systems with Clienture Active Directory for identity and Access management.
- Knowledge of working with products like Microsoft Defender, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, O365 suite, Zscaler, Cisco Secure, Citrix Workspace, and Jamf ADCS (Active Directory Certificate Service).
- Possess knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificates and 802.1x authentication protocols. Utilize this knowledge to configure and manage secure network connections and authentication mechanisms for macOS devices.
- Experience in hardware procurement and hardware lifecycle management
