Interested in joining us? We are accepting applications for a Project Manager I for our operations in the Midwest Region based out of the greater Minneapolis area. The Project Manager is a key figure in the RES business who supports delivering stormwater management projects, on-time, within the scope, and within budget.
We are looking for a COMMUNICATOR: you will be constantly in contact with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams (sales, land, permitting, finance, construction); a LEADER: you will be coordinating internal and external resources for the successful execution of all project phases; and a PLANNER: you will develop project scopes, schedules, and costs, manage teaming agreements and consultants, and QA/QC.
As a PM I/II, you will be assigned one or more mid-sized projects, and you will be entirely focused on their delivery. You will own all its stages, from conception to completion (under the guidance of the Sr. PM), on schedule and on budget.
In the initial phases, you will be responsible for the project budget elaboration, time frames, and staffing, so experience in budgeting and knowledge of POC is a must. To do so, you will be working with a wide range of subcontractors, who will submit their bids, so experience in estimating and evaluating is also necessary. You will be also arranging permits, drawings, and submittals required and assigning duties to the team according to your work plan.
During the projects, you will be preparing and maintaining job costs on a daily/weekly basis and providing technical advice to the project personnel. You are the go-to person to resolve any site-related problems, so you will need a great deal of creativity.
Finally, you will submit project reports for management and clients, and monitor project closeout (final quantities, final change orders, and final releases from agreements).
Note: Travel will be required for this role, with around 20% of that travel requiring overnight stay.
What would make you stand out?
