Resnick & Louis, P.C. is seeking a full-time Entry Level e-Billing Appeals Specialist to support the growing client base for a midsized insurance defense firm with offices across 12 different states.

We are a rapidly growing law firm looking for someone to join the Appeals team of our Accounting department (in-office) in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and have proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, ability to adhere to strict guidelines and deadlines, be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills. We are seeking an individual capable of effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for proofreading written text. Moderate proficiency in data entry, Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills are required.

This is an entry-level position and we will provide training. Previous experience is not required but any relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities include:

· Organizing reduced invoice notifications using Microsoft Outlook and Excel while ensuring strict adherence to client-issued appeals deadlines

· Utilizing various legal e-billing platforms to conduct research on reduced invoices and submitting written appeal responses on the firm’s behalf to our clients

· Communicating internally with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other staff to obtain missing contextual information and documentation as needed to ensure quality appeals are submitted

· Responsible for calculating and posting write-offs on the client ledger for reduced invoices and unrecovered deductions

· Monitoring recovered and unrecovered dollar amounts following submission of appeal responses, identifying potential issues and trends in deduction types to report to management and ownership

· Clerical duties which include filing, typing, copying text and other tasks as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
