MARS Solutions Group is Hiring a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst Near Rockland, MA
- Perform credit analysis for new loan requests and oversee existing portfolio.
- Prepare annual reviews and loan modifications, and track financial information.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business/product cycles, and historical operating performance.
- Complete credit underwriting for mid-size to large commercial loan requests.
- Prepare and review in-depth written analyses for relationships of various size and complexity.
- Perform analysis and research for the annual review of all borrower relationships.
- Make comments/recommendations on loan terms and structures to minimize credit risks.
- Work with junior analysts to enhance credit analysis skills.
- Respond to inquiries, questions, problems and other credit issues.
- Perform in-depth appraisal reviews to ensure compliance with appraisal regulations and the Bank's internal policy.
- Represent the Bank in the community and at business and professional association functions.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of appraisal and environmental regulations/requirements.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Ability to deal with and show discretion in confidential matters.
- 25% availability to travel outside of 25-mile radius.
