Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide exceptional care to our patients. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the care plan established by the Registered Nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare professional
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospice care, nursing home, or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for patient privacy
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration
