What You Need
High School Diploma or the equivalent, preferred
Experience serving children from the Foster Care community preferred
Extensive experience caring for children and providing nurturing care
Maintain flexible hours, which will include evenings, overnights, and weekends
Specialized knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to maintain a high-quality foster home
Excellent communication skills
Ability to partner with Case Managers, birth families, Licensing Counselors, and community partners
Excellent organizational skills
Sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
