Residing Hope is Hiring a Bilingual Admissions Specialist/Administrative Assistant Near Enterprise, FL

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position; working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What You Need

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • An Associate of Arts from an accredited college or university preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years customer service and/or clerical experience
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Proof of Immunization

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the completion of all admission and discharge paperwork and documentation.
  • Ensure files are uploaded in databases and maintained to all federal and state regulations and accreditation standards within designated timeframe.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with FUMCH team members in order to evaluate and improve program systems to ensure that required documentation is completed, uploaded and filed in accordance with regulatory timeframes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and familiarity with the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home and Board of Child Care/Office of Refugee Resettlement Policy and Procedures relating to the care and supervision of Unaccompanied Children. This includes knowledge of legal background and authority governing the practice as related to working with Unaccompanied Children.
  • Provide professional communication with outside agencies.
  • Maintain accurate daily census report for the program.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Assist with the coordination of transportation for youth, as needed, for reunification and placement with approved sponsors.
  • Provide back up support to personnel with regards to scheduling and communication of required appointments for youth in the program.
  • Acts in the capacity of the designated point of contact for new intakes entering the Caminos Program, ensuring steps to prepare unit to receive new intakes is completed.
  • Other duties as requested to achieve agency goals.
