Rockingham, NC - HUD SUBSIDIZED APARTMENT COMPLEX
Residential Properties Management company is seeking a full-time Property Manager in Rockingham, NC, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of affordable multi-family housing for forty (40) spacious one, two, three, and four bedroom apartments and thirty (30) one bedroom affordable senior apartments.

The Property Manager will facilitate optimum performance of the property, which includes effectively managing personnel, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, risk management, expense control, capital improvements, information reporting, and compliance with applicable fair housing laws and company policies. As Property Manager you will lead and motivate your staff to provide service to residents and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and control all areas of the community to ensure quality services and a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff – regularly reviewing performance
  • Monitor annual operating budget – prepared by Regional and approved by Owner
  • Ensure expense control and maintain effective rental collections
  • Accurately prepare and submit property invoices and payroll information in accordance with company guidelines
  • Manage petty cash
  • Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Perform unit inspections in accordance with company/program guidelines
  • Enforce the Lease & House Rules

  • Education & Background Requirements
  • Knowledge of affordable housing (HUD), Tax Credit properties and the EIV Program is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Property Management experience is required
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred but not required
  • Salary/Schedule/Benefit Information
  • $23-$25 per hour (based on experience)
  • 40 hours per week (full-time)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
