Residential Habilitation Experts (RHE) is a management consulting firm that provides consulting and backend support services to disability care providers. We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to play an important part in ensuring the accounting needs of our clients are met in a timely and accurate manner. This person will support a client-serving team of accountants in the core accounting services provided. They will need to have strong attention to detail and to be a self-starter. This is a great position for somebody who is still in school and wants to be exposed to real-world accounting functions and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Compile financial statements
• Input payroll data
• Compile data for billing to Medicaid
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing process
• Enter accounting journal entries
• Maintain accounting email
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn processes and software
• Organization and time management
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with accounting processes and software preferred

Starting pay is generally set between minimum and midpoint for new hires or developing employees. Individual pay is adjusted as performance is demonstrated and sustained at increasingly competent levels over time.
