If so, then The Phelps Residence Inn, Rooftop Bar is for you. We are a 12 story hotel that is equipped with a 2 tier level rooftop bar with excellent food and wonderful craft cocktails. We are seeking a energetic, friendly, motivated Food Runners that can provide our rooftop bars with the proper tools, supplies, and products needed to perform at an optimum level at all times. This includes learning the food, cocktail, beer, and wine list to assist our bar guests as needed.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles.
- Must be able to multi-task well and work well under pressure.
- Must have a great attitude and willing to work hard
- Must have excellent people skills
- Ensure guest satisfaction by smiling and engaging with our guests
- Restock liquor, mixers, beer, bottled water, supplies, and garnishes behind bar as needed
- Occasionally change soda bibs
- Run food as needed to all guests
- Perform bussing responsibilities such as clearing empty glassware and trash from bar top.
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the bar (i.e., wipe down surfaces, push stools in, clean area around the bar, arrange and clean bottles, drink, and food menus, condiments, etc.)
- Perform sweeping and clean-ups of spills as needed
- Clean glassware according to dishwashing procedures and restock
- Check and restock ice bins
