Job Description:
 
The A&P mechanic will troubleshoot, repair and service aircraft and engine systems. Conduct diagnosis of malfunctions. Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. Maintains FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms.
Duties include:

• Perform Phase Inspections, Annuals, Pre-Purchase Inspections & Line Maintenance.
• Inspect aircraft, aircraft components, hydraulics, fuel systems, engine, deicers etc.
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft for inspection purposes.
• Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are safe for operation.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, airworthy directives to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Maintain work orders, update with corrective action and return to service documentation.
• Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and specialized testing equipment.
• Find part numbers per manufactures manuals.
• Check for corrosion, distortion, and cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
• 5 years Aircraft Maintenance experience on piston and turboprop fixed wing aircraft; jet experience is a plus
• Preferred: Factory Training
