ResetSmile is Hiring a Dental Lab Technician Near Irving, TX

We are looking for highly capable dental laboratory technicians ready for that next level to construct removable dental prostheses and devices for our customers. You could be filling orders receiving, disinfecting, pouring gypsum models from dental impressions, and fabricating high-quality 3D printed and finish dental prostheses and devices.

To ensure success as a dental laboratory technician, you should demonstrate extensive knowledge of current dental technologies and experience in a similar role. A top-notch dental laboratory technician will be someone whose expertise results in highly functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing dental replacements.

Responsibilities:

  • Restoring or replacing natural teeth by fabricating flexible removable partial dentures.
  • Receiving physical dental impression molds, fabricating gypsum casts and 3D scanning of poured casts
  • Receiving digital impressions from dental practices and interpreting written prescriptions from dentists
  • 3D printing flexible partial dentures and devices.
  • Finishing and polishing flexible partial dentures prior to placement.
  • Inspecting flexible partial dentures in accordance with established QC standards at each stage of the fabrication process
  • Adjusting dental prostheses and devices before final placement.
  • Managing supply inventories, performing routine equipment maintenance, and facilitating repairs.
  • Documenting processes and adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Keeping informed of advancements in the field of dental laboratory technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
  • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) in complete and/or removable partial dentures preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited dental laboratory technology program (TE) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
  • Extensive experience in constructing removable dental prostheses including repair techniques
  • Proficiency in computer-aided dental design (CAD) software such as 3Shape, Exocad or Blender.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and precision.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
