Established, modern firm in business for 20 years is hiring a Remote Tax Senior, living near Santa Cruz OR the Austin, TX areas. The work is focused on providing accounting services, tax preparation, and advisory to businesses and high net worth individuals.
Job Description
Job Type:
*Must have CPA firm experience
Full time, W2
Location: REMOTE in Austin, TX OR Santa Cruz, CA areas
Compensation: $70,000- $90,000 DOE
- Prepare a mix of small business and individual tax returns
- Perform and deliver monthly client bookkeeping and accounting services to small business clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Business acumen; experience interpreting financial data to help clients run their businesses more effectively
- Experience doing some tax planning and projections; desire to learn more
- Experience with construction clients, nice to have
- Experience working in a remote environment effectively
- Detail oriented
