As a Solution Engineer you will help prospective clients to understand the impact their corporate reputations can have on their businesses.Everything from enhancing their ability to be found via SEO strategies to being able to manage the feedback they are receiving across solicited, structured channels to "in the wild" channels like review sites and social media networks. You will conduct discovery sessions with prospects to understand their business needs, objectives and desired outcomes, then use that intelligence to demonstrate ways that Reputation's powerful platform can address those things. You will deliver compelling demos and become the technical expert on product features and their associated value.

A successful candidate for this job will have a strong understanding of one or more of the following: Online Reputation Management and, more specifically, the principles of SEO and what can drive a business to rank in Google search; familiarity with Google Business Profiles; the principles of Customer Experience (CX) and the corresponding software platforms that enable it; and social media strategy and best practices for engagement across, especially, Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram. The candidate will possess a strong self-starting, proactive mentality and excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English, but multilingualism would certainly be a valued asset). The position works with a rapidly changing technical platform and will be solving for the complex issues that our clients and prospects (and, sometimes, co-workers) face. The successful candidate will be emotionally intelligent, an active listener and someone who can communicate with empathy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demos to prospective and existing customers explaining how strategic use of the Reputation technology can help them achieve their desired business outcomes.

  • Establish relationships with account stakeholders through calls, demonstrations, and potential pilots/POCs.

  • Gain customer acceptance by demonstrating the added value of the Reputation platform to be able to reduce cost and/or provide operational improvements.

  • Contribute to Solution Engineering effectiveness by contributing to the establishment of tools and best practices to be shared across the SE team.

  • Provide insights and recommendations along with effective presentation skills; ability to deliver a technical/functional pitch to C-suite stakeholders

  • Communicate use cases and findings from the field to Product teams responsible for ongoing development of our product.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Marketing or related equivalent practical experience.

  • 1-4 years experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including work on a professional services or systems engineering team)

  • Experience delivering presentations to executive stakeholders and their teams

  • Experience with Google Search, Google Seller Ratings, Survey and Social Tools, Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Salesforce
