POSITION SUMMARY: Sr Business Analyst Ops Technology is responsible for driving fleet modernization projects by liaising with the IT team to develop robust solutions to new business processes and, track and report on the key metrics in projects. Sr Business Analyst Ops Technology leverages their analytical skills, knowledge of application tools and techniques to drive the development of services and analytical solutions that meet the business requirements. The Sr Business Analyst Ops Technology works closely with IT architecture and development teams to ensure product development meets design criteria and deployment timelines. The Sr Business Analyst Ops Technology contributes to the overall improvement of business reporting by maintaining the data systems and implementing processes and initiatives that ultimately increase the effectiveness and integrity of data reporting and documentation. This role relies heavily on analytical skills to evaluate complex information, formulate insights, and develop sound recommendations to support implementation, reporting & analytics of new fleet and business technologies.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interfaces with IT management to create sustainable and scalable solutions for business process.
Partners with the IT leads to ensure implementation of a solution meets the business requirements.
Creates technical flow diagrams based on standards and process flow diagrams, wireframes and prototypes which are used to collaborate and guide development resources to rapidly develop integration assets.
Defines and documents reporting metrics and how those metrics are calculated from source system data. Analyzes source data systems for content, writes technical definition specifications, report layouts/mockups and test scripts.
Uses query languages like SQL to mine data, create reports and uses the latest technology to identify and analyze performance trends. This includes performance and forecast impact on future results. May also make recommendations on use of information to improve results, including recommendations on changes to business processes.
Report project KPIs to leadership at a regular cadence.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role
3 years experience in project management
