The Manufacturing Engineer will report to Engineering Manager
● Provide technical support to manufacturing lines in a cleanroom environment following GMP.
● Drive continuous improvement through process improvements such as creating or updating procedures, equipment, or
processes.
● Complete IQ/OQ/PQ’s on equipment and processes as needed
● Collaborate cross functionally with quality and operations to resolve day to day production issues.
● Lead development of tools, jigs, and fixtures to minimize production errors and improve efficiencies
● Continuously improve safety and maintenance programs to improve the overall work environment.
● Help as needed with facilities improvement projects such as production layouts, and cleanroom improvements.
● Aid in training operators on new equipment and processes.
Requires an Associates degree with 5 years of engineering experience or a bachelors degree with 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
● Experience in molding or extrusion processes desired.
● Experience in continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing.
● Experience using Solidworks to create drawings and assemblies
● Proven skills in time management, and project management
● Understanding of GMP and working in cleanroom environments desired.
● Any additional knowledge of facility maintenance, or safety programs also is desired but not required.
● Good computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and an ability to learn SAP.
