Overview

The Project Manager II is responsible for the strategic planning and effective execution of multiple concurrent cross functional product / process development projects in the area of bioprocessing. They will be tasked with coordinating and interacting with individuals across multiple disciplines within Repligen including Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Marketing.

The position will be based in Waltham, MA

Responsibilities

• Develop clear and effective project plans to track progress, flag project risks, and delegate project tasks to cross functional team member(s)
• Identify resource / equipment / skillset bottlenecks.
• Engage sponsors and project teams to ensure the timely execution of multiple project plans and make tradeoffs for scope / timeline / budget.
• Lead and support the team by providing project management and organizational tools and/or resources to improve project efficiency
• Maintain reliable working relationships with various internal departments via strong written and verbal communication skills
• Coordinate the development of project deliverables and documentation for product launches
• Provide visibility to project stakeholders and executives on overall project health through regular business updates
• Collaborate with Project Management Organization to improve new product development process and organize business objectives

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science – preferably biochemical engineering / life sciences.
• 2-4 years of experience preferably in product development or biotechnology sector.
• Project management training/certification(s) are preferable
• Project Management software skills are preferable
