Engineered Molding Technologies a Division of Repligen is a growing industry leader in the area of Manufacturing of medical grade silicone-based products. Our Clifton Park location is expanding and constantly growing. Currently we are seeking to add a Production Control specialist to our staff. Production control specialists support the purchasing and planning functions. The position is responsible for schedule maintenance, supporting MRP functions, general maintenance of the ERP system and data as it relates to those responsibilities. The position exists and operates at the intersection of virtually every functional sector of the organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

· Assist with the planning and management of production schedules to ensure schedule adherence and on-time delivery of customer orders.

· Issue and track job travelers.

· Develop and manage MRO program for the site.

· Support material purchasing as a backup.

· Data collection and analysis.

· SAP maintenance

· Understand the operational flow of the organization and how the position contributes and relates to the design, acquisition and transformation of components into a finished saleable product.

· Consistently seek to strive and focus on quantifiable data for decision making rather than personal opinions.

· Display a proactive approach to responsibilities with advance planning and preventative actions and keen focus to deadlines and deliverables.

· Support traveler, drawing, and file management

May be asked to perform other duties at a lower or higher level of proficiency

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Qualifications & Required Skills/Experience

· Preference given to candidates with 2-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with SAP experience.

· Industry certifications a plus

· Experience with MRP / ERP software

· Experience working in and supporting an ISO 9001 similar Quality Management System preferred

· Proficient Computer skills (Office Applications, ERP/MRP Systems)

· Effectively communicate (bi-directionally) with individuals or groups information of a technical or financial nature

· Active listener, respectful and professional. Communicate with honesty and integrity

· Maintain an open, positive, supportive and service focused attitude and approach to all responsibilities.

· Demonstrate curiosity and openness related to the responsibilities to question why things are the way they are and always seek continuous improvement.

· Understand the basics of KANBAN and JIT planning management systems.

· Have the ability to calculate and manage to key inventory metrics.

· Possess basic knowledge of supply chain activities and relationship management

· Ability to Multi-task
