Job Description
Sr Site Reliability Engineer
We have partnered with an up and coming company that have been focusing on retail automation. The company have been growing strength to strength across North America and have a need to hire another Site Reliability Engineer.
As an SRE you will be required to help build out a highly scalable infrastructure that will help optimize systems performance and repeatability.
This role will require you work partial as a developer at least 25% of the time, so you must be able to write code.
Responsibilities
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure
- Work on SaaS software solutions to improve reliability and quality
- Operational support and optimize system performance
- Partner with other engineers to improve services via testing and release procedures using a DevOps model
Required Skills:
- More than 5 years' experience in a previous SRE/DevOps position
- Hands on experience with program languages like Python, Ruby or JavaScript
- Experience with IAC - terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with AWS and its services
- Knowledge of configuration management and monitoring tools
