Reorg is Hiring a Manager - Digital Content, Communications, & Social Media Near New York, NY

This is a brand-new role in our global marketing team for an energetic, experienced digital content, communications and social media manager. In this highly visible role, you’ll take ownership over the company’s social media program; you’ll collaborate with global experts to produce, promote and grow our podcast programming; and you’ll partner across the marketing team with in-house experts on content strategy, creation and promotion.

Reporting to the head of Corporate Marketing at Reorg, you’ll work collaboratively across a growing marketing team; you’ll get to work alongside financial analysts, lawyers and reporters across our editorial teams; you’ll contribute to growing internal experts’ influence and status across regions and key markets; and you’ll help shape audience engagement in Reorg’s market-leading commentary. As a newly created role, it offers opportunities for growth into adjacent areas of PR, media, blogging and thought leadership content support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evolve Reorg’s social media strategy and content publication cadence, balancing corporate social content, culture and DE&I content, expert commentary and influencer engagement.
  • Partner with the marketing team and Reorg analysts to execute a digital content and social media program that showcases Reorg’s expert insights, webinars, publications, podcasts, events, and industry leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Reorg editorial team to plan, produce and promote Reorg Radio, the company’s weekly podcast. This includes leading podcast editing and post-production requirements, ensuring consistency in applying brand creative and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Compose social media posts that capture key messages, promote Reorg value and SME (subject matter expert) insights and thought leadership, big ideas, and research intelligence or data analysis in concise, accessible and engaging language.
  • Analyze digital and social content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies, channel participation and content to optimize reach and engagement; recommend and develop metrics and KPIs where there are gaps; produce regular reports for marketing leadership, showcasing progress on goals/objectives/metrics.
  • Partner with in-house and agency creative resources to ensure social, podcast and digital content is on brand, engaging and bringing Reorg content to life through storytelling techniques.
  • Monitor industry social and podcast channels to ensure Reorg’s programs remain marketing leading and competitive.
  • Identify topic/story trends and issues of interest to Reorg customers and recommend content ideas to our editorial teams.
  • Expand Reorg’s social media following across key social platforms and emerging platforms by strategically following and engaging with industry thought leaders and influencers; share recommendations with Reorg’s internal SMEs to help grow their professional profiles.
  • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of high-quality digital content; partner with digital and product marketing to ensure support of key campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of trends in digital content, social media, podcasting and emerging technologies, adapting insights to improve strategies and maintain Reorg’s competitive position.
  • Support corporate communications initiatives, including PR, media and blogs, and serve as a secondary resource for market-facing content and communications coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related fields
  • 5-7 years in a social media/digital content manager role in a fast-paced, media and content-focused company; experience in SaaS/technology, banking/financial services, and/or legal industries beneficial
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging social media platforms to grow brand, followers, and influence, especially across LinkedIn, X, YouTube
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully managing a B2B podcast, growing listeners and driving engagement
  • Experience with social media analytics, content management tools and digital marketing trends.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency using leading podcast editing software, such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript or others
  • Knowledge of and skill using third-party tools/apps such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Oktapost, Canva, Jira, Monday.com, Pardot, Pendo
  • Knowledge of and skill using Microsoft Office and Google suites
  • Exceptional writing and copyediting skills with ability to understand complex topics, financial and legal analysis, and simplify through engaging, succinct copy
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage, prioritize and reprioritize multiple initiatives
  • Ability to identify new opportunities for continued brand improvement and promotion across business segments and in Reorg’s markets

At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The base salary range estimate for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. 

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual year-end performance bonus.
