ReNuke Services is seeking a Transmission Engineer IV for our client"s site in Charlotte, NC!
Description:
*Full time, hybrid, 2 days/week in office*
Will drive personal vehicle if needed to sites, mileage reimbursed.
This position would be responsible for conducting P&C Design QA reviews with external contractors of high-level projects. These projects would include major reliability upgrade projects at Transmission level substations and generation plants. This position would need to have advanced knowledge of DEC P&C design material ordering process. Those processes include the job pack tool and TIM/Maximo material ordering process. The position manages multiple ongoing projects and have fundamental experience in the use of CAD drafting software. They also are expected to interface with other engineering disciplines, project management, and construction/maintenance crews as dictated by the work and excel in adhering to project schedule demands and finding solutions to problems collaboratively.
* Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of routine problems in area of expertise.
* Assists in the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities under the guidance of higher-level employees.
* Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches associated with the resolution of routine technical problems.
* Conducts basic engineering studies requiring little evaluation or ingenuity.
* Possesses knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures.
* Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files.
* Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.
* They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied.
