Seeking behavior specialists, special educators, psychological counselors, etc. who specialize in treating individuals with a primary diagnosis of autism and other developmental disabilities that impair learning or social functions.
Our company is certified to provide autism waiver services through Maryland State Department of Education. We provide services to school-aged children in home as well as at a therapeutic setting.
Summary of Job Roles and Responsibilities
· Develop Participant’s Treatment Plan;
· Develop Participant's Progress Report Documentation
· Design and implement Monthly Therapeutic Activities and Lesson Plans;
· Parents Communication and Relationship Management
· New Hire Interview, Staff Training & Continuous Development
· Conducting Staff Meetings
· Monthly Staff Supervision & Documentation at the Therapeutic center
· Staff Conflict Resolutions
· Incident Management/Reportable Incidents
· Maintain Service Coordinators Relations
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in special education or related human services field and;
· Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to pass criminal background check
Experience:
· Five (5) years of experience in training and consultation in Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
· At least two (2) years of experience or training in providing services to children with Autism Spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
· Experience relevant to:
- Behavior intervention
- The family training needs
- Keeping the child safe in the home environment
· Knowledge of positive behavioral supports; experience in developing behavioral programs
Skills
· Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus but not required
· Must be organized, creative and efficient in overseeing, delegating and managing multiple activities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent Computer Skills and use of Online Database Applications
· Ability to work under deadline pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent customer service skills are necessary, including the ability to work with families, as they are very involved with their children in the programs.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
