We are actively seeking a full time family nurse practitioner to add to our existing primary care practice.
Looking for an eager individual who is confident in their primary care skill set. Responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or comorbidities. Order diagnostic tests as appropriate. Prescribe medications within the scope of license. Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, self-care skills, and use of prescribed medical treatments and medications through education and counseling.
A minimum of two years primary care office experience preferred and previous experience with an electronic health record highly preferred. Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP). Regular attendance is a must to ensure efficient operations. Ability and willingness to work weekend and holiday work as required. Flexible, self-motivated individual who is dedicated to quality patient care and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills.
