Overall Purpose:

As a Janitorial Field Supervisor for Reno Clean Janitorial, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of various properties while managing a team of cleaning personnel. This role demands effective collaboration and communication skills as you supervise multiple sites and personnel to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Duties:

  • Manage diverse customer accounts across various industries.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify improvement opportunities and develop long-term maintenance plans.
  • Identify maintenance deficiencies such as mold, malfunctioning toilets, and coordinate with partners for timely resolutions.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of cleaning systems, conduct repairs or adjustments as necessary, and communicate recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead, facilitate, or assist in addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with crew leads and Operations Manager to meet or exceed client expectations consistently.
  • Utilize company software proficiently for tasks including work orders and internal communication.
  • Maintain a rotating schedule, manage a heavy workload, and work effectively outdoors in various climates.
  • Supervise and train cleaning personnel to ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
  • Assess cleaning needs, identify upselling opportunities, and collaborate with other teams for comprehensive service delivery.
  • Engage in business development activities to expand the client base.
  • Manage material and supply procurement ensuring timely acquisition and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely completion of work within scheduling demands and adherence to budgets.
  • Maintain positive relationships with management, field staff, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Inspect properties before scheduled service to plan and execute specific action plans effectively.
  • Perform hands-on work with crews when necessary to meet work demands.
  • Manage administrative tasks including time sheets, job databases, and employee development plans.
  • Provide necessary support and documentation to business partners as required.
  • Train crew leads on task prioritization, equipment usage, and effective task delegation.
  • Optimize equipment usage through efficient route planning.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of safe and high-quality work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support janitorial division efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent oral communication.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow established processes.
  • Adaptability to changing environments.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, lead projects, and contribute to team development.
