Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for patients
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments for services rendered
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of animal care practices and terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
