Renfield Manufacturing is Hiring a Quality Control Specialist Near Reno, NV

Renfield Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Quality Control Specialist! We are expanding rapidly at our Reno, NV headquarters and looking for the right people to grow with us! If you have a strong work ethic, are reliable and value teamwork in a fast-paced environment we want to hear from you for our team.

Renfield Manufacturing is a Nevada leader in clean beauty product manufacturing and is committed to adhering to industry standards using only the best natural ingredients, free of harsh chemicals and parabens.

Responsibilities

  • Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, melting point
  • Conduct physical properties adjustment such as color, increasing/lowering pH and viscosity
  • Conduct stability and compatibility testing
  • Evaluate micro testing
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; perform daily calibration
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform OOS investigations and issue NCMR and CAPA
  • Compliant with all applicable SOPs and GDP as well as cGMP requirements.
  • Assist in investigations, FDA, and 3rd party audits
  • Work in a team environment by communicating and assisting others

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemistry or Science related field or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of GDP and cGMP regulations and standards required
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • At least 2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, color cosmetic and/or skincare manufacturing preferred
  • Communicates effectively and concisely, both in writing and verbally
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer savvy with experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and detailed oriented
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
