Renewing Management is Hiring a Pool Monitor Near South Bend, IN

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pool Monitor is responsible for a clean, safe amenity environment for our residents to enjoy.

This is a part-time temporary position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Ensure that residents are using their lanyards to enter the pool area - These will be ordered and handed out by the property staff in the leasing office once the pool rules are signed. If a key or key card is needed to enter the pool area, one will be given by the property staff once the pool rules are signed.
  •  Make sure that there is only one guest per occupant of each home (everyone listed on the lease can bring one friend). A rent roll will be provided weekly by the office staff.
  •  Make sure that each resident and guest sign a liability waiver form before entering. These should be signed in order for the resident to receive the lanyard.
  •  Make sure that all participants are obeying pool rules posted in pool area. In the event there is a disruption, the Pool Monitor calls 911 to get the police to respond to situations that escalate beyond normal corrective requests.
  •  Skim debris from the pool
  •  Lock up the pool area at closing time each evening
  •  Remove trash from the pool area

Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Ability to control a crowd
  •  Mature and responsible
  •  Clear ability to communicate and resolve conflicts
  •  High School diploma or GED
  •  Personal cell phone Required
  •  CPR/First Aid Certification Required

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in

the maintenance of swimming pools.
