Medical Assistant Position
Busy Dermatology practice located in northern Virginia is seeking an experienced part time Medical Assistant. We are a large, busy practice providing medical, surgical, laser and cosmetic dermatological services throughout the northern Virginia area. The position is located in our Prince William Hospital office.
The days/hours are:
Tuesday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
Every other Monday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities for this position include:
· Rooming patients
· Collecting H&P information
· Scribing for provider while patient is being seen (reason for visit, patient note, coding, treatment plan, etc)
· Compiling sample bags for patients
· Explaining medications
· Preparing labs and giving results
· Cleaning rooms, stocking rooms, putting away medical supplies, etc.
Experience in a medical practice setting and EMR required. The right candidate will be energetic, friendly, a fast learner and great with patients. Ideal for those interested in going on to either nursing, physician assistant or medical school.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
