Job Summary

As a Service Technician / Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in the Signature Service experience, helping diagnose and solve installation situations that need additional service to be just right. Warehouse Operators are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing product and materials, picking and filling orders, or coordinating, organizing and retrieving stock. We are looking for experienced technicians who have installation experience and a "can-do" attitude.

Job Duties

Below is a summary of the primary essential job duties of this position:

- Service and repair previously installed RbA products.

- Responsible for service and maintenance of company vehicle

- Stocking parts and items for jobs.

- Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

- Keep team members and manager informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken.

- Follow and keep current on RbA product and installation process changes and make recommends as needed.

- Keep inventory of service area neat and organized, request material replenishment as needed.

- Assessments of damaged or failed product at customer homes and replacing parts, fixing interior and exterior trim, caulking, siding, paint and drywall touch-ups.

- Adhere to work timelines and meet deadlines.

- Complete and submit required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough, and completed in a timely manner and collect customer payments as needed.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

·Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.

·Loading and unloading trucks.

·Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the products.

·Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.

·Inspect inventory for any damage and faults.

·Communicating errors to relevant parties.

·Sort, label, and store products in their designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient space utilization.

·Collaborate with the Portland warehouse team to improve overall operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for process enhancements or cost savings.

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.

2-3 years carpentry and window installation experience preferred.

At least 1 year of carpentry and window installation experience required.

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds, climb and work from ladders and scaffolding, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects.

Compliance with Lead Safe Work Practices and OSHA standards is required.

Basic electronic skills to utilize a tablet.

Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.

·Basic knowledge of construction, carpentry, remodeling, framing and building materials as well as terminology of the construction industry.

·Submitting paperwork for reimbursements.

·Mechanical aptitude: ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings, and hardware.

·Ability to service and repair previously installed windows.

·Self-motivation, time- and work-process management skills, and the ability to work independently.

·Basic math skills and legible writing.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

●Spends workday driving to customer homes, completing physical work at customer homes and submitting paperwork.

●Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 120 pounds individually.

●Occasional exposure to noisy environments, to hazardous conditions, small and/or enclosed spaces, low and high temperatures and precipitation and wind.
