Andersen is seeking a skilled Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. Your primary duties will include performing repairs, conducting preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in an Electrical Mechanical program, and skills in basic electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and experience with electrical controls including PLC, servo controls, VFDs and HMI. Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
• Perform duties as needed including some of the following: furniture and equipment moves, plumbing, carpentry, welding, painting, waste removal, fabrication.

Skills:

• 2-year degree and/or 5 years of experience in a related field
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and ability to identify safety concerns and implement solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, lockout tagout
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to perform various maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, painting, welding and carpentry
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with staff members and external contractors
• Experience in industrial facilities maintenance is highly preferred
