We are looking for an individual who can coach and motivate a team, be dedicated to working with homeowners, be proud of the work they do and the product they represent, and go the extra mile whenever necessary.

What You’ll Be Doing – the Role

  • Provide: coaching, development, leadership, training, and support for the installation crew
  • Assign work schedules, work orders and oversee jobs
  • Assess and troubleshoot problems as they arise
  • Set install goals
  • Follow up with homeowners post-installation, conduct walk-throughs and troubleshoot any installation problems
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Create and foster a culture of safety within the team
  • Evaluate and identify any training deficiencies
  • Provide various window installation, product knowledge and other carpentry expertise to the job site as needed
  • Meet with Operations Manager and Project Managers on a regular basis to ensure great communication of assigned installers’ performance and needs.
  • Provide department support by attending company meetings, reading all relevant company updates and relaying the necessary information to the installation team
  • Time will be divided between the office, warehouse and field
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience of replacement window installation
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • 2-3 years of general carpentry experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Harness and R-Force experience preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to lead and discipline a diverse workforce
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Clear and readable written documents, graphics, drawings, and messages
  • Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes and accept process changes
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record

Physical Demands

  • The ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Walk and stand on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to use power tools (i.e. table saw, skill saw)
  • Hear audible warning signals
  • Lift and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Must exhibit a high level of endurance, energy, and strength to successfully perform duties
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
  • May require dexterity to push, pull, climb, bend, twist, turn, reach, etc.
  • Use of personal protective equipment
  • Flexible to changing work conditions, assignments and hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
