Renewal by Andersen of Central NC (Raleigh, NC location) is looking for qualified individuals to fill our position: Measure Technician. This position is full-time and available immediately.

( Some window and door installation, carpentry, framing, trim work, remodel experience, or understanding of basic home construction is required.)

Our Measure Technician conducts a technical measure for doors and windows sold, verifies contract details, and does a window inspection to ensure the correct approach for replacement. The re-measure of product by the Measure Technician after the sale is complete ensures our custom products are manufactured correctly. Sizing details, product details, and the accompanying work required for the installation is reviewed with the customer. More specific detailed installation requirements and material lists are communicated back to our main office.

This position requires previous window/door installation or related carpentry and mechanical construction experience. This is not an entry level position.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform math with fractions.
• Minimum of two years of carpentry experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions.
• Solid communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and think quickly on your feet
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Basic computer experience is required
• Willingness to work variable hours with some schedule flexibility.
• Comfortable working from heights and ability to maneuver a ladder around a home’s exterior
• Customer-oriented.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Training is completed on the job with one of our existing Measure Technicians

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
