As a Billing/Coding Specialist with Renew Health your duties may include, but are not limited to the categories and associated items listed below:

• Claims submission.
• Utilizes the electronic health records system to submit, process and post all claims and copayments
• Communication with health insurance payers for claims, status and denials.
• Ability to handle medical billing efficiently
• Reading and interpreting health insurance EOB's (Explanation of Benefits).
• Fulfilling medical records requests and additional information requests from health insurance companies, and patients.
• Consistent followup on unpaid claims.
• Experience with DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding
• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding would be a plus
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
