Type of treatment will consist of non-surgical, routine foot care, diabetic ulcers, and small procedures (ingrown toenails etc.) at bedside.
Essential Job Functions Diagnoses, treats, or prescribes treatment of the foot, ankle, and other related structures using medical histories and physical examinations.
Consults with inter-professional team on the care of patients. Records all diagnoses and treatments. Refers patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation in an inter-professional manner. Advises patients about treatments and foot care techniques to prevent future problems.
• Valid License – Board Certified Podiatrist
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in advanced wound care is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Wound Expert EMR knowledge preferred.
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting required for extended periods of time.
• Requires visual and hearing acuity.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
