Join us and build your future by being part of what’s next in electronics and the world.Job DescriptionThe Sr Staff Technical Writer will be responsible for Ensuring and improving the consistency and quality of technical documentation and quality documentsImplement and promote the technical writing standards and technical documentation creation processOwn documentation development including datasheets, errata, application notes, hardware and software user manualsWrite the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understoodEditing, proofreading and indexingContribute to the development of a user friendly documentation creation environment including templates and ‘documentation IP' re-useStandardization and library management of electrical parametersHelp to define and maintain the technical documentation guidelinesMeet colleagues from multiple disciplines to discuss technology and authoring requirementsTake feedback from users and act accordinglyQualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Technical Communication is preferred.English degree with more than three years’ experience in the technical writing field is acceptable.Additional InformationRequired skills: Technical communication in EnglishModerate-advanced use of Microsoft WordSome knowledge of microcontroller, software, and IoT terms and technologyFamiliarity with SharePoint and JIRABasic knowledge of Acrobat Pro, Visio, DITA writing, and DITA-OT processingBasic knowledge of CMSIS-SVDMust have experience in Technical Publishing software tools like DITA XML, Oxygen Editor, and Madcap IXIA CCMS etc.(Good to have a basic understanding of the Japanese languageAt least 3 years of technical writing or technical editing.
