Job Description

About Operations Engineering Division (OED): OED is the central team that supports all Business Unit Design and Development teams, and other organizations including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Foundry Operations, and Test. OED provides a platform for managing all process technology and PDK development for both Internal and External Foundry processes. This strong and highly qualified team (mostly MS/PhD) add strength in developing Test Technology, Foundry Operations, and Yield management. The team’s world class contributions lead to aggressive NPI strategies and continual cost and gross margin improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the improvement of the OED team through process definition, auditing actions and follow-up, and management review actions recordkeeping and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with key OED personnel to review and understand the current Test Program Release flow for classic REN-ANG, REN-PWR, and REN-DLG.
  • Consolidate the best practices of the 3 current flows and generate a single flow which can be utilized across OED.
  • Release the final version of the “Test program Release Flow” specification and present a BTM to OED.
  • Use verbal and written communication skills to connect with OED stakeholders and colleagues and ensure requested deliverables are provided on schedule.
  • Align with manager’s goals and initiatives to meet agreed-upon KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Progressing towards a Bachelor’s in a suitable Engineering degree (QE, IE, EE, ChE) with a GPA ≥ 3.2.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and English writing skills.
  • Willingness to engage with department heads and their designees.

Additional, Desired Qualifications:

  • Progression towards a Master’s degree in a suitable Engineering degree (QE, IE, EE, ChE) with a GPA ≥ 3.2.
  • Coursework or experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Education or ability in statistics and experience using a statistical software package.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Workflow, Visio, PowerBI, and other relevant software applications.

Additional Information

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $28.00 - $39.00. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
