Renesas’ advanced control architectures allow a challenging arena for strong engineers. The job entails working with cross-functional groups to continually push the envelope of technology implemented in Renesas products.The location for this position is Morrisville, NCResponsibilities:The candidate will participate in the entire product development cycle of power management IC’s such as buck converters, PMICs, and multi-phase regulators. Primary responsibilities will include:contribute to the definition of innovative and differentiated productsnew silicon validation and characterization (hands-on work in the lab)product promotion and design-in support, as well as support for sustaining productsdevelop technical documentation (e.g., datasheet, application notes, and design guidelines)customer support (including on-site support) to analyze, debug, and resolve issues quicklysystem level testing and characterizationset up and execute Simplis simulations of power converter circuits and systemsdesign evaluation kits – schematic design, board layout, software/GUI developmentwork closely with local and remote teams (FAE’s, design/test/product/reliability engineering, and marketing) to perform the tasks listed aboveQualificationsYou are an Initiative-taking, passionate individual, who is comfortable delivering to a deadline in a fast-paced environment.Willing to analyze, debug, and solve a wide variety of problems.Understands importance of customers and strives to provide timely support.Exceptional knowledge and hands-on experience with operational amplifiers, analog/mixed signal, and power management ICs (PMIC) topologies, circuits, and applications.Willing to create and maintain strong customer relationships, and to attend and actively engage in high profile meetings with key customers.Willing to work across time zones with a worldwide team. Education:The candidate should have BSEE 4 years, or MSEE 2 years of industry experience in power management ICs or related applications engineering.Additional InformationRenesas Electronics Corporation empowers a safer, smarter and more sustainable future where technology helps make our lives easier.
