Overview

The Business Intelligence Lead Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of enterprise analytical solutions to meet the business needs of the organization. The Business Intelligence Lead Architect will provide technical leadership, guidance and expertise in enterprise analytics architecture and maintain an efficient and effective platform architecture following industry standard best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale MicroStrategy solutions that align with business requirements and objectives
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to departmental analysts and other architects as needed in the implementation of MicroStrategy applications
• Optimize the MicroStrategy platform performance, scalability and reliability to meet the needs of large-scale deployments
• Define and promote best practices, standards and guidelines for MicroStrategy development and implementation
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security and regulatory requirements in MicroStrategy solutions
• Provide training, mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members throughout the organization to transfer knowledge and expertise of the MicroStrategy platform
• Collaborate with MicroStrategy representatives to stay updated on platform developments and help shape future product enhancements on the roadmap to achieve Renasant objectives and goals
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical specification for enterprise analytics architecture
• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and value of MicroStrategy solutions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 20 years of development experience with business intelligence software, data warehousing, and reporting software
• Knowledge of other systems, Tableau, SQL Server and advanced knowledge of MicroStrategy required with MicroStrategy architect certification preferred
• Strong Experience with databases and database terminology
• Background in banking or financial services preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills
• Attentive to deadlines and detail
• Effective decision-making, judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate creativity and innovation
• Ability to work and manage independently
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and IT team members to achieve the best overall solution as quickly as possible
