Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a preschool and summer camp for children between the ages of 20 months and 6 years. Supervise a staff of 12 teachers and assistants; meet and greet children and families; ensure school's compliance with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and with the NYC Department of Education; Serve as liaison with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and with the Department of Education; over all program planning; provide staff development and training; recruit and register new families.

New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth to 2 years) a MUST

Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in a preschool setting

Experience in and knowledge of Pre-K for All a plus

Computer literate

Multi-lingual a plus

Warm, nurturing, flexible personality

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
