Renal Physicians Inc is Hiring a Medical Office Assistant Near Kettering, OH

  • Must be allowed to work in the United States
  • Must have a driver's license
  • Must have worked in a medical office the last 24 months unless RMA or CMA is current
  • May be required to travel

Duties

· Answer incoming calls, route calls, schedule appointments, and cancel and reschedule appointments according to practice procedures and guidelines.

· Enter lab orders, procedures, and referrals to other physicians and send them electronically.

· Print lab orders and patient visit summaries.

· Reschedule patient appointments when the physician is not available.

· Scheduling office visits and confirming patient appointments.

· Greeting patients upon their arrival for appointments, verifying and updating patients’ information in the system, including gathering and entering patient insurance.

· Check the fax inbox throughout the day and route it to the appropriate person for review.

· Collecting co-pays, co-insurance, and other payments as needed and accurately completing end-of-day reconciliation.

· Process incoming mail, return mail, and courier mail as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $16.25 per hour
