RemX is seeking a PT 3rd Shift Specimen Processor / Data Entry Specialist. This is an onsite position that must maintain departmental production goals to ensure hourly specimen flow is consistent within the labs.

In addition you will prepare samples for shipping, while ensuring samples are secure and shipped to the correct laboratory.

Seeking someone who can handle the responsibility of patient medical records with complete accuracy and confidentiality.

• Pay Rate : $18.15
• Start : ASAP
• Type : Temp to Perm
• Location : Onsite ( Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 )
• Schedule : Mon-Sat 11PM-7AM or 11 : 30PM-6 : 30AM (Must be flexible to work any 4 or 6 hour shift between these times.)
• Interview : (Must be able to interview 11PM or 12AM, as you will be working late hours, so the client wants to adhere to the same interview time frame.)

Job Duties :

• Receive, identify, label and process specimens as required for processing.
• Handle all labeling of specimen containers and any other materials submitted by the client.
• Enter demographics, transcribe and review all specimen data into the laboratory information system.
• Display the ability to learn and understand specimen types related to test(s) ordered by our clients.
• Recognize specimen problems and refer to designated personnel.
• Adheres to core values, safety, compliance policies and procedures.
• Must Maintain production goals to ensure hourly specimen flow to the labs are consistent (minimum 28-35 cases) per hour Report malfunctioning workstations to management for HELP tickets.
• Keep work station neat and clean.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Prior Lab, Processing and Data Entry experience a plus. (1-2 years of experience)
• Must pass a typing test.
