Title: Health Information Specialist (Healthcare Admin)

Pay: 19/hr.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (85021 Zip Code) Must be able to commute daily.

Expected start date: ASAP Start!

Schedule: M-F, 8 hour shift, start time flexible between 7am-8am

**Must be able to work fully onsite Monday-Friday.**

Position Details:

• Answering of inbound/outbound calls.
• Receive and process requests for patient health information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Responsible for safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Prepares new patient charts, gathering documents and information from paper sources and/or electronic health record.
• Responds to requests for patient records.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to commute daily and work fully onsite in Phoenix, AZ (85021 Zip Code)
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Ability to be comfortable in a call center environment.
• Comfortable utilizing phones, fax machine, printers, and other general office equipment on a regular basis.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate information for medical records
• Strong data entry skills.
• Able to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment.
