Job Summary :
The IV (Intravenous ) Billing Specialist will be an integral member of the Client Billing Center and the billing in Framework LTC (long term care) for over 100 pharmacies across the nation.
This role will help with review and provide continued support for the client billing team and Framework systems.
Job Description :
- IV Billing Support and Training to client billing team and contribute to process improvement in the IV Billing functions and review
- Documentation . Maintain documentation regarding training materials and tools up-to date.
- Provide Feedback . Consult frequently and regularly with the Client Billing Managers to discern best practices
- Ensures accuracy ; of billing by reviewing plan sheets and contracts for proper pricing of services working closely with Plan Administration
- Works closely with Third Party Operations IV billing to ensure retro changes are handled promptly.
- Standardization . Understand and educate others on the importance of company’s data standards and work-flow best practices.
- Communicate and Monitor. Serve as a liaison between billing team and pharmacies as needed.
Requirements :
- 3 years as a pharmacy technician or working in a pharmacy.
- LTC (long term care) billing knowledge
IV technician Experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
