Job Posting: Medical Department Manager

Location: Riverside, CA / Wildomar, CA ( possible Remote days)

Reports to: Department Administrator- Endocrinology Department,

Shift: 8:30a – 5:00p, part-time (3 days a week) can be 32 or 40 hours Days are not fixed. No weekends.

PAY: $32 - $38 depending on experience

Position Overview:
As the Endocrinology Department Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our innovative Diabetes project and managing day-to-day operations within the department. Collaborating closely with our experienced team, you will contribute to the success of our program through your leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 8-10 staff members, ensuring daily tasks are delegated and completed efficiently.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct employee reviews, provide coaching and support, and facilitate team meetings.
• Assist in the development of workflow processes, policies, and formal presentations for the Metabolic Center Program.
• Interact with clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as other department managers, to foster collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of staff management experience (2-3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Proactive, flexible, and patient with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Must have FLS Certification.
