As a reputable healthcare institution, we are currently seeking four LVNs in the Los Angeles area for immediate placement within the General Surgery department. Relevant experience in this field is highly preferred.

Pay: $35/hr - $43/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Locations:

• Playa Vista
• West LA
• Carson

Duration: 3 - 6 months with possible extension and perm opportunities
Summary of Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct patient care, encompassing
  assessment, treatment, and education
• Administer medications and treatments according
  to physician prescriptions
• Monitor vital signs, document condition changes, and
  promptly report abnormalities to the RN or MD
• Educate patients on health promotion and
  disease prevention
• Maintain precise records of patient care, including
  progress notes, medication administration records,
  and related documentation
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses,
  and other healthcare professionals
• Handle phone-related tasks, including managing
  messages.

Job Requirements :

• 2 years experience working as an LVN
• Responsible, reliable, dependable, timely
• Friendly, courteous, professional
• Must have either EPIC or prior Kaiser work experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  with patients, providers, the public, staff members
