Note: Must be available weekends if needed
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide care and treatment for patients with breathing disorders. This role requires knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and critical care procedures.
Duties:
- Utilize respiratory-driven protocol
- Management for ventilator and noninvasive ventilation
- Medications delivery, Bronchial hygiene, and Volume expansion therapy
- Smoking cessation and patient education
- Arterial blood draws (ABGs), Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Trauma
- Attend all cesarean sections and/or high-risk deliveries
- PFT in an outpatient setting, for Pulmonology outreach and
Requirements:
- Must have an Active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified
- A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited AMA-approved school of
Certification in the American heart association’s BLS is required.
