RemoteWorker UK is Hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer Near Bristol, RI
- Develop and design mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using industry-standard software
- Conduct simulations and calculations to assess the performance and suitability of designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee and support the manufacturing and assembly processes for prototypes and final products
- Perform tests and evaluations to validate the performance and functionality of designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mechanical design Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or a similar role
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
