As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Barista/Food Handler to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about both coffee and food. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting high-quality espresso beverages, as well as preparing and serving a variety of food items. They should possess excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee preparation area.
• Prepare and assemble food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure food safety standards are met at all times, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including washing dishes, wiping down counters, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista and/or food handler preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
